I’ve been here a few times over the years for a traditional shave, and unfortunately this was my least favorite visit. The barber was friendly and pleasant, but the shave itself just wasn’t as good or as relaxing as I’ve experienced here in the past. The overall service felt a bit disorganized, and it didn’t seem like everything was fully prepared. For example, the hot towels weren’t ready in advance and were run under hot water instead of coming from a warming cabinet, which took away from the traditional barbershop experience. To be fair, my appointment was right when they opened, so it’s possible they were still getting set up for the day. That may have contributed to the experience. Given the premium price, I expected a much more polished and relaxing shave. Overall, it was okay, but it didn’t provide the level of quality or attention to detail that I’ve experienced here before or that the price point suggests. I’ll still give them another chance, as my previous visits have been much better.
