I’ve been going to James for years and have followed him from previous salons, it’s fantastic to see him now set up in his own personal space. I always leave feeling fantastic and have never left disappointed. James takes his time offering a one to one experience and really understands my hair and I completely trust him. Wouldn’t go anywhere else x

Really knowledgeable on hair but as a first time client his demeanour seemed to change when I said I didn’t want my hair trimmed on this occasion. It’s more like a healthy hair plan holistic service. Something to consider if you’re planning to go for a one off appointment

My New Client Consultation is designed to understand your hair, current routine and, importantly, what you're hoping to achieve long term. You explained that your goal was longer, thicker hair, so we discussed your current routine and what I would professionally recommend to help you work towards that. The appointment includes treatment, silk press and cut, as outlined in the booking description. When you explained that you weren't comfortable having your hair cut, I completely respected that decision. Based on my assessment of your hair and the goals we discussed, however, cutting was part of what I would professionally recommend. I accept my manner may have felt more matter of fact from that point. Once it became clear that what I was recommending wasn't something you wanted to proceed with, there wasn't anything further for me to persuade or convince you of. Your hair is yours and you're entitled to decide what you're comfortable with, just as I have to be honest about what I believe I can realistically help you achieve. My approach is centred around healthy, manageable hair and long term length retention rather than one off services. Sometimes that means recognising that a client and I may not be the right fit, and that's completely okay. I wish you all the best and hope you find a hairdresser whose approach is the right fit for you. James ✨️
I would follow James anywhere, he is the most talented and caring hairdresser and I trust him completely. My hair has never been in better hands for the 10+ years he's being doing my hair. I always leave James feeling my best self and my hair always looks fabulous x
