very pleased
I have been coming here for a while and have never had any complaints about my nails - they always do a great job. However, on my most recent visit, I had a booked appointment and they were running behind. I was initially told it wouldn’t be much longer, but I ended up waiting over 30 minutes. Having to wait that long when you have an appointment booked is excessive and at the very least, an apology would have been appreciated.
very happy with nails. Lovely staff
I’ve been coming to American nails for over a year now. I am so happy with the service. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Im leaving with happy results yet again!!! Would recommend 🫶🏽
Thanks so much see you soon
service was amazing and l didn't have to wait.
fab pedicure, love the massage chair, summer ready toes and feet now
Ann does my nails perfect every time. She is so friendly and the salon itself is very calm and organised. It was nice to have the aircon on and always seems so clean and tidy. Will not go anywhere else. Thanks so much!
Thank you for your lovely review ♥️
I am very disappointed with my experience at this salon. I have been coming here for over a year and developed a serious nail problem. My nail became discoloured and appears to have a bacterial or fungal infection. When I raised my concerns, I was told that they have “many clients like this” and that it would simply grow out on its own. Instead of taking responsibility or advising me to seek proper treatment, they showed me information from Google and dismissed my concerns. What upset me the most was that they still charged me £10 just to clean the nail and then tried to convince me to have a new set of nails done, despite the condition of my nail. I felt that my health concerns were not taken seriously and that making another sale was more important than addressing the problem. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience. Hygiene, customer care, and professional responsibility should always come first. Pt2 I would like to correct several inaccurate statements in your response. I have asked for a fresh set before, and I also requested a fresh set during my most recent visit. I was told that it would be more expensive, and I clearly stated that this was not a problem for me. Unfortunately, my nail model was left unfinished because the salon became busy many times. My main concern has always been my nail health. I have never been informed that I had reached a limit on BIAB infills or that a full removal and fresh set was necessary. I was the one who asked. The suggestion that I refused treatment because of money is completely untrue. I am a regular customer, I attend my appointments consistently, and I always come prepared to pay for the services I request. I choose BIAB because acrylic products irritate my nails and do not suit me. This is the reason for my choice, not because it is a cheaper option. I am also concerned by the tone of your response and the accusations made against me publicly. Suggesting that I was “cutting corners” or refusing treatment due to cost is unfair and does not reflect my experience as a customer. My review was based on my genuine concerns regarding the condition of my nail and the advice I received. As a paying customer, I have the right to express those concerns, especially when they relate to my health and wellbeing.
You were panicking over a temporary bacterial stain known as ‘the greenies’ An infill can only be repeated 3 to a maximum of 4 times before you must get a full take-off and a fresh set. You ignored our repeated warnings, always giving excuses: either didn’t have enough time or didn’t have enough money that day. On your pictures, you repeatedly chose the biab infill which is the cheaper option. When you leave an old product on for ages and refuse to pay for a fresh set, moisture gets trapped. That is not a salon hygiene issue. As for trying to ‘make a sale’—you told us you hated having your nails look empty, so we simply suggested doing a fresh set on your other fingers and skipping the green one. Unfortunately, we do not work for free, £10 for removal is normal for every salon. This situation could have been avoided if you had listened to our removal recommended months ago instead of trying to cut corners.
Lovely people and I always leave super happy with my nails
Ann always does my biab exactly how I’d like it done. Shes amazing and wouldn’t go anywhere else!
