Barber Story ( The SEN Barber )

sadly cancelled on us due to illness, which normally I am quite flexible with but I booked well in advance in preparation of a holiday where I wanted my son to look nice. of course illness (or maybe a case of rugby being on!) happens but cancelling was one thing but to promise to come the next day and when chased (multiple times) to confirm times I was promised to have confirmation by 12 if a rearranged appointment was going ahead which was not received. when chased again it was a complete cancellation leaving me scrambling trying to find another barber at short notice that would cut my sons hair. which I couldn't find so he didn't have his hair cut for holiday. Was very disappointed as we was so excited to find a SEN barber to be able to use monthly. Not sure if I will try in future. if communication is better relayed then I would consider it.

Trey is brilliant! I can’t recommend him enough, especially to anyone who’s little one really struggles with hair cuts

This was a great haircut! Really friendly while cutting hair and overall a great barber

We had such a lovely experience with Tremayne. My son Mason is SEN and has previously found having his hair cut really difficult, so we were understandably nervous about how he would manage. From the moment we arrived, Tremayne was so patient, calm and understanding. He took his time and didn’t rush my son Mason at all. He made him feel comfortable by showing him all of the equipment that would be used and explaining everything to him, with absolutely no pressure. The whole experience was so chilled, calm and relaxed, which made such a difference. It was lovely to see my son feel safe and comfortable enough to have his haircut. We were so impressed that we have already booked the SEN block sessions for the next 5 weeks! I would highly recommend Tremayne to any parent who, like us, has struggled to get their SEN child to have a haircut. His patience, understanding and approach are absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much for making what can be such a stressful experience into such a positive one! Thank you so much

Amazing barber with my son.

Tremayne arrived on time as per appointment booking and was professional throughout. Will definitely be booking again.
