Honestly, I couldn't ask for a better hairdresser. I first visited Lauren about 5 years ago and my hair was fried with bleach from years of bleaching it myself. Lauren declined to put any further bleach on and recommended a really good cut and treatment, which I was apprehensive about. But I followed her advice and I got a cut and a colour but no bleach. Now all these years later, my hair is healthy and I have regular high/low lights with Lauren. She cared about the integrity of my hair and helped me to care for my hair and get it to the healthy hair it is now. Forever grateful 🙏

After visiting many hairdressers in my life and coming out not feeling happy, I am thrilled that I have found Lauren. She listened to exactly what I wanted and did exactly that! Being in the hair industry myself, it’s so important for my hair to look good, I’ve had non stop compliments on my colour and I always highly recommend.

Absolute incredible up do! I had so many compliments on it. I have a weave too and none of my extensions were on show. She fully understood the brief, kept asking me throughout if I was happy and she had so much care, compassion and attention to detail! 10/10 🫶

Unfortunately last 2 inch’s of hair are now frazzled had to have it all cut off very short :( No fault to Lauren, lovely girl. Looked great when finished and curled but after washing the damage was obvious. perhaps didn’t realise there was already bleach on my lower hair. Reply: Lauren yes my hair had split ends and slight damage from previous colours but after washing my hair when you did it,the last 2-3 inches were completely frazzled. I’ve never felt my hair in that condition. EVER I wasn’t trying to shame or blame but to take no responsibility for it is quite a shock. It felt like straighteners had been left on way too long and felt burnt.That’s the only way I know how to describe it. I have been in tears over this. Anyway the damage is done. I’m sure you’re a great hairdresser, everyone makes mistakes. Perhaps it was just left on too long. Or too strong.either way. It fried my hair
Hi thank you for your kind words, yes unfortunately the damage to the end of your hair had been caused from previous colours and the box colour you had applied yourself as I explained to you during your first, initial hair consultation with me. Regarding the bleach you mentioned in the review there was no bleach applied on the lower hair area during the appointment with me I only applied a tint in that area to help the condition of your hair. I only applied the lowest peroxide around the top and sides. I look forward helping you with your hair in the near future.
