I am a senior citizen and find that this is very much a place for young people. There is continual music playing, of a genre that certainly doesn't comply with my tastes. The barbers are all youngsters and keep up a steady stream of conversation and badinage between them - this is fairly loud because they have to compete with the music. I cannot contribute to their interchanges, nor do they expect me to. However, the haircut is excellent and an extremely good deal at £10. I booked ahead and was immediately attended to. Everyone is very polite even though I am clearly not of their demographic. Bramley needs a barbershop and I hope that this one can keep going. If you need a good men's scissors cut at a very competitive rate, without dragging yourself into town, then I recommend this - just try to block the music out, if you can. No doubt the youngsters enjoy it!

Had my haircut by Maxim today for the first time - The haircut was spot on, exactly what I asked for. He was really nice to be around too; relaxed, welcoming and really took the time to understand what I wanted. Would recommend!
