Lovely staff, but unfortunately the experience was not for me. I visited for a lash tint and brow lamination. While I'm happy with how the upper lashes turned out, I left with significant tint stains around my eyes that were not removed before I left the salon. Despite trying to remove them myself and even covering them with concealer, the stains remained very noticeable. Had I known this was to happen I don't think I would have had the treatment as I had meetings and other planned activities afterward. I also noticed that my lower lashes had curled inward, suggesting they were not properly shielded during the treatment. As for the brow lamination, I was disappointed with the result. I had specifically asked beforehand whether the treatment would help make my brows appear more even, but instead it seemed to exaggerate their differences. During the appointment I was told my brows were too sparse and that I would need microblading. If that was the case, I don't feel I should have been booked for a treatment that was unlikely to achieve the result I was hoping for. I'd also recommend removing contact lenses before the treatment, as mine ended up covered in chemicals - they turned purple! I had originally booked with Jane but was surprised to be allocated a different therapist on the day without being informed in advance. After leaving my review, I received a text message saying I had upset the therapist with my comments. I felt this was unprofessional. A better approach would have been to contact me to acknowledge my concerns and ask how they could make things right. I would have appreciated the opportunity to resolve the situation directly and potentially have a more positive experience. Overall, although the staff were friendly, the service did not meet my expectations, and I left feeling disappointed with both the results and how my concerns were handled. I do not wish the salon any harm, and I genuinely hope they take this feedback constructively.
