Kinga does the most beautiful lashes in Nottingham! ✨ I’m always so happy with the results and leave feeling amazing every time. She has such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and it’s always so nice to have a proper chat while getting my lashes done. Unfortunately, I’m very disappointed. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt several times, but after my last appointment I cried in the car. I’ve had my lashes and brows done for years by different techs, and never had this issue. At my first appointment, I wanted to ensure she was comfortable working with my very blonde lashes and delicate features, so I initially gave her free rein. I explained that I like dark, longer lashes and darker brows because I’m very light-featured and like definition. She commented that my lashes were blonde and “fragile.” I’ve had techs comment on how light they are, but never that they were fragile, and I didn’t feel they were. I let her do her thing. The result was VERY subtle and my brows almost invisible, but I gave the benefit of the doubt and booked again. My brows washed off within 3 days and my lashes were mostly gone within a week and a half. I’ve had my lashes done for years and never had retention like this or had them fall out so quickly. At my second appointment, I specifically asked for longer, wispier lashes and darker brows and showed her a photo of what I normally have. Her response was, “Oh no, that’s ugly.” She said she couldn’t go longer or heavier because my lashes would break and fall out. I explained I’ve had similar sets for years, know what my lashes can handle, and would take responsibility if they couldn’t, but she still wouldn’t do what I asked. She repeatedly tried to convince me to have brown lashes despite me explaining that I didn’t want something too delicate because my features are already very light. I left disappointed after another £80. Her portfolio showed she could do heavier sets, including on blonde and delicate-looking women, so I put it down to a communication issue and assumed she didn’t trust my judgement yet. At my last appointment, I explained I had a big event coming up and wanted to actually see my lashes. I asked for them to be longer and wispier. I didn’t mean huge “butterfly wing” lashes; I meant the kind of work I could see she does on other clients. Again, she refused despite me saying I understood the risks and would take responsibility. During the appointment, she mentioned I had gaps in my lashes. It made me uncomfortable after repeatedly feeling like my lashes were being portrayed as “poor” or difficult to work with. Mentioning it once was understandable, but it felt like it was being rubbed in. She kept telling me how beautiful the lashes looked, giving me hope I might finally leave feeling like myself again. Barely visible lashes and brows affect my confidence. Before we started, she also pushed the brown lashes again, which I declined. When I looked in the mirror, I couldn’t believe she thought they looked good. I stayed polite and said nothing. Towards the end, her friend came into the room. She showed her friend my lashes, and the friend looked clearly unimpressed. The lash tech then told her friend how I had “so many gaps,” which made me feel embarrassed in front of a stranger. I paid and left. I cried in my car, unable to believe I’d spent so much on something important to me and left embarrassed, disappointed and worried about my event. I don’t think her technique is bad — her portfolio shows she can do good lashes. I just don’t feel she has enough experience or confidence working with very blonde lashes and someone with light features who wants a more defined look. I also felt a constant “I know best” attitude despite explaining what I’ve had done for years, what I like, what my lashes can handle, and that I’d accept responsibility. If she had told me from the beginning that she wasn’t comfortable or experienced enough to achieve the effect I wanted, I would have understood. It would have saved me time, money and disappointment, especially as I live far away. I’m not saying she does bad lashes. I don’t feel her approach suits very light features wanting a darker, longer, defined result.

First time having brows done here and definitely wont be the last. Fantastic service and my brown have never looked so good considering there was parts missing here and there. Already booked again. 5 ⭐️
