Perfect colour and amazing service
♥️♥️♥️
I’ve been going to Olivia since moving to Liverpool. Her colour and styling services are always amazing. She sees a lot of me being a copper haired girl with extensions, I’ve always walked away from her chair extremely happy and with incredible looking hair. Olivia’s knowledge of hair care is brilliant and her recommendations have majorly helped the health of my hair. Not only is she a brilliant colourist/ stylist/ extension specialist, she always makes you feel comfortable and welcome! I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I've been going to Liv for nearly two years now, and I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. She always takes the time to listen to exactly what I want and makes sure I'm happy with the result. Liv is incredibly friendly, professional, and makes every appointment a lovely experience. I always leave feeling great about my hair. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a talented hairdresser who genuinely cares about her clients! X

I have been coming to Olivia for over a year now and she is fabulous. She is so attentive and always brings my hair vision to life. She is highly skilled and I couldn’t put my trust into anyone else to do my hair. I always feel confident and fresh whenever I leave the salon. She is so experienced with blonde hair and always checks the foils to ensure your hair is lifting perfectly. I will always Recommend her to anyone looking for a hairdresser in Liverpool!

Really disappointed with my experience unfortunately. I had my hair done by Olivia and paid £180 after being told during the consultation that a beige blonde would be achievable over time. Although I fully understood blonde is a process and never expected platinum in one sitting, I absolutely did not expect my hair to come out this orange, uneven and patchy after just one wash. The photos taken immediately after the appointment in salon lighting made the colour appear much cooler and more blended than it actually was. However, only two days later and after washing my hair once, the reality of the colour became obvious — strong orange and yellow tones throughout, uneven lifting in different areas, and visible warm bands through the middle of the hair where sections clearly did not lift to the same level. Another thing that disappointed me was that during the appointment my foils were never properly checked to see what level my hair had actually lifted to. From my perspective, the foils were removed and washed very quickly without much attention to whether different sections had reached the correct stage underneath. What upset me the most was not only the result, but the response I received when I politely explained that I was unhappy. Instead of acknowledging my disappointment as a paying client, I was repeatedly told my expectations were “unrealistic”, that sunlight was the reason my hair looked orange, and that my hair somehow became orange simply from being outside. I have honestly never in my life heard that freshly highlighted hair should turn orange after being in daylight for a short period of time two days later — otherwise do clients need to stay indoors forever? I was also told that if I wanted the colour corrected or toned to look better, I would need to pay again. When I explained that my hair still felt healthy enough that some sections could potentially have lifted further, I was essentially told that my opinion did not matter because I’m “not the professional”. I completely respect professional experience, but I also think it’s unfair and dismissive to completely invalidate a client’s concerns instead of simply acknowledging that they are unhappy with the result. At no point was any accountability taken for the fact the result looked completely different after washing compared to the salon photos. Honestly, do you really see a noticeable blonde transformation in my hair? Because almost everyone around me has asked if I coloured my hair myself because of how orange and uneven it looks. Multiple people have even said it barely looks different apart from being more orange, which was honestly upsetting to hear after paying so much money. I fully respect that hairdressers need to protect hair health, and I never once asked for platinum blonde or damaged hair. I simply expected a softer, more blended and professional result than what I received for £180. Sadly I left feeling dismissed rather than listened to, and I would not personally return.
Thank you for your review Negin, I always welcome feedback. Firstly I am sorry I have not given you your desired result on this occasion. Colour corrections are always a tricky service and can be slightly unpredictable on new clients due to past hair history. With this in mind I always prepare clients that desired results may not always be achievable especially in a first sitting; something we discussed at length in your consultation. We agreed to work towards beige blonde but I explained that Fridays result would most definitely still be warm. I think it is fair however, that I defend the accusation of the warm band in your hair being due to my work. I have attached your before and after photos to my portfolio as evidence that this band was present before I carried out any colour work. The band was due to box dyes. I have CCTV footage of me checking your foils throughout. I removed the foils when I felt right to protect your hair condition. I would never compromise hair health for hair colour. I did not state that sunlight is the reason for the orange tones. The orange tones are due to your hair history of copper box dyes. However I advised that hair will always look its MOST warm in direct sunlight and I would not advise sitting directly in the 30-degree sun two days after bleach application. This can dry out your hair condition and affect the tone. Of corse I would never expect clients to stay indoors forever. I wish you luck in finding the colourist for you.
