Hi Tiffani, I’m genuinely sad and disappointed to read your review, as I feel it doesn’t fully reflect the circumstances surrounding your appointment. Your original appointment had to be cancelled due to an unexpected delay which meant I couldn’t get back to the UK in time. I completely understood the inconvenience and offered you an alternative appointment the following day. Unfortunately, I then became extremely unwell overnight. I fully intended to attend, but when I woke feeling so poorly, I felt it was responsible to let you know as soon as possible that I couldn’t. I’m genuinely sorry for the inconvenience and did offer another appointment because I wanted to accommodate you. I also want to clarify that you would never have been charged the £15 cancellation fee in these circumstances. Although our policy allows us to charge a fee where appropriate, this situation would not have warranted one, which is why your appointment was simply rearranged and no fee was taken. I’m disappointed by the one-star review when both cancellations were completely unforeseen and outside of my control, particularly as you haven’t visited the salon or experienced our service. I do wish you had spoken to me directly before leaving the review, as I would have been more than happy to explain the circumstances and do everything I could to resolve your concerns.
