Had a spray tan for my hen party, absolutely amazing and lasted well! Then had the bronze bridal package before my wedding, couldn't recommend Sophie enough! My tan was great and so was my nails, Sophie was lovely and welcoming, will definitely be booking again for future events!xx

I can't reply to your comment but I went some where else today and this is what I asked for and they succeeded it. I kept asking to get the gel removed as you just couldn't do it. I did say you were polite but after your review I take that back as we both know you weren't doing a good job at them. And about my gel nails and toes that only took 40m of the appointment so 3 hours was these nails which only took my new person an hour 20m to take of the rubbish ones you did and to get these ones on so there is so excuse I think you need to take accountability and treat customers fairly as I have now had to pay £70 for nails when you knew you did rubbish!
I’m sorry to see that you’ve chosen to leave a second negative review. I completely respect that you weren’t happy with your appointment, however, I do feel it would have been more appropriate to contact me directly by message or phone call to discuss your concerns rather than leaving two negative reviews. Had you contacted me, I would have been more than happy to listen to your concerns and discuss what could have been done. I always want my clients to leave happy and, where possible, I’m happy to resolve any genuine issues directly. I’ve explained my side of what happened in my previous response, and I stand by that. I’m sorry you feel disappointed with your experience, but I don’t feel that continuing this publicly through multiple reviews is fair or constructive. I wish you all the best going forward.
Really happy with my acrylic nails Sophie was so welcoming and lovely. The atmosphere was really relaxed which made the whole appointment really enjoyable. I’m so pleased with how my nails turned out and will definitely be booking back in again. Thank you so much! ❤️
I Booked in last minute yesterday for a full set of acrylics and I’m so glad I did! The lass is lovely and I had such a lovely, chilled experience with a really great atmosphere. I felt so comfortable and relaxed throughout, and I’m absolutely over the moon with my nails and the final result! Thank you so much, I’ll definitely be back!
The worker herself was lovely and the atmosphere was nice, so I can’t fault her personally. I did get my eye brows waxed and gel toes and they were perfect. However Unfortunately, the actual nails were a completely different story and I’m really disappointed with the result. We agreed on the length at the beginning, and my nails were longer then. However, she spent over an hour filing them and ended up taking them considerably shorter than the length we agreed on. They are now a length I specifically didn’t want. The shapes of each nail is different and the faded/ombre effect I asked for wasn’t achieved so had to go with plane pink. I was repeatedly told that I have small nails, but I’ve never had an issue with another nail technician being able to work with my nails. I also have acrylic stuck underneath my nail which is irritating and uncomfortable. When I pointed this out, I was told, “It’ll just come off tomorrow, it happens when I get my nails done.” This isn’t simply glue on the surface — it’s acrylic stuck underneath the nail itself. The nail art was also disappointing. I asked for flowers, but the flowers on each hand are completely different. I also asked for a glitter line, but parts of it have glitter missing, making it look unfinished. I also got cut 3 times 😭 What makes this even more frustrating is I spent 3 and half hours there to be highly disappointed. She did then discount me for the nail art she said but still charged me £30. honestly don’t feel the nails are worth £30 when I’m now having to find another nail technician tomorrow, at very short notice, to try and fix them. I go away Tuesday, so this has left me scrambling to find someone else when I shouldn’t have had to. I really wanted to like them, but unfortunately I hate the finished result. The length, shape and designs aren’t what I asked for, and I wouldn’t return. Please find attached the photos
The nail designs you requested were being shown to me on reference pictures and were quite detailed, particularly as they were being done on very long nails yours were a lot smaller than the photos shown . The length and complexity made the designs considerably more difficult and time-consuming than a standard set. Throughout there were also repeated occasions where I was asked to wipe off and redo parts of the gel/design. Unfortunately, repeatedly removing and reworking the gel made the overall application more difficult and affected the finished result. I was doing my best to accommodate the changes and achieve the look you were asking for.You also arrived with gel polish already applied to your toes, which I had to remove before carrying out the pedicure. In addition, you asked for your eyebrows to be done, despite this not being included in the appointment you had booked. The nail art was also not booked as part of the original service. Nail art takes longer than a standard nail appointment, which is normally around 1 hour 30 minutes. The additional detail, length of the nails, removal, changes and extra eyebrow treatment all contributed to the appointment taking longer.I aim to provide a professional service and accommodate my clients’ requests wherever possible, and I feel the additional time taken was reasonable given everything that was requested and carried out during the appointment.

Amazing service and such a chill atmosphere! Had my biab removed, it was such an easy process and Sophie was gentle throughout and shaped my nails perfectly! Highly recommend!!
I travelled all the way from Catterick to Darlington for this appointment, and it was a terrible experience. I arrived at 4:30 PM and did not leave until 7:30 PM. Taking four hours for a nail appointment is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the technician did not have the colors from the reference photos I showed her, and she lacked professional skills. By the time I got home, the nail paint was already completely spoiled. I am very unhappy with this service. I want my money back as soon as possible.I spent 30£ on this service.
I’m genuinely sorry that you feel this way, but I do feel it’s important to clarify what happened, as the review doesn’t reflect the full situation. You initially had a full set applied, which you said you were happy with. You then chose the colours from a selection of around 150 shades available. After the gel had been fully applied and cured, you decided you weren’t happy with the colour because it wasn’t an exact match to the photo you had shown me.This process was repeated three times. Each time, I removed the colour and reapplied a different shade at your request. What would normally be around a 1.5-hour acrylic appointment turned into a 4-hour appointment due to the repeated changes. During the final removal, you told me that your nails were starting to hurt, which was understandable after having the product removed and reapplied several times. You then asked me to paint over the existing set rather than continue removing and reapplying the product. I have been a nail technician for 10 years and, in that time, I have never experienced a situation like this or received a complaint of this nature. I always do my best to accommodate my clients and make sure they leave happy, which is why I’m disappointed that you feel your experience was my fault.
