Shirley is amazing, she made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked into the shop. She’s very attentive and always makes sure I’m well looked after, it took her no time at all to figure out I’m a snacker, now every time I get my hair done she always has my favourite snacks ready for me 🤗 Shirley will always advise me on what is best for my hair, she is definitely not one of them hairstylists that will just give you what you want regardless of whether it will ruin your hair. My hair has already seen length and is in better health since Shirley has been doing my silk press and I’ve only been a client for about 6 months. Shirley will crack you up, you’ll forget that you’re getting your hair done and think you’re just having a catch up with one of your girls! She might gatekeep where she gets some of her very cute outfits from, but we’re working on that part 😂 Yes Miss Shirley, you are who you think you are 💇🏾‍♀️🤌🏾 🥇 👑

It was my first time visiting The Silky Satin and I had such a lovely experience! I was seen by Shirley who was an absolute vibe. She immediately made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. She’s super funny, easy to talk to, and clearly very skilled at what she does. I had a wash, treatment, and trim, and I left feeling so happy with the results. Shirley is excellent, a breath of fresh air! She carried out a texture release, cut and style (for myself and my sister) and the entire process was great. I left the salon feeling like a new woman! She was friendly, gentle and understanding of my needs. Looking forward to the next appointment!

The best hair experience, everything worked out better then I imagined and I loved every minute of it. The service and care for my hair was outstanding, my hair feels and looks fantastic and I will be back again.
