The sweat box

Nestled in the hills of Creggan Country Park, this sauna has the most stunning views. Beautifully built with so much care and character, it’s made even more special by the fact that the sauna itself was created from a former prison van – a fascinating piece of local history. The peaceful sounds of the trees rustling, water pouring, the fire crackling in the stove, and the hot stones sizzling create such a relaxing atmosphere. It truly does wonders for your health and wellbeing. Derry needed something like this. Whether you’re an athlete or simply looking to unwind, you’ll be made to feel completely welcome. The staff are fantastic – a special thank you to Claire for being so kind and welcoming. I’m postpartum after having a baby, and this experience did wonders for me. I can’t wait to come back ❤️

I had the most lovely experience at the sweat box. The ladies were so friendly and helpful. The view was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t believe how clear my lungs felt afterwards. I will definitely be back again.

Claire was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. This was my second visit, no doubt there will be many more. Tonight's visit was paired with a beautiful view of the sun setting behind the trees, so peaceful, a great way to end the evening

Great experience. Beautiful set up in whole. Claire was amazing explained everything for first time very attentive she is lovely to deal with.

Absolutely class, will be recommending to all my friend and will definitely be back! I cannot recommend this place high enough, amazing clean facilities with such an amazing view and the most helpful and caring staff (thank you Claire for looking after us so well)!!

What a great set up , such a great way to reset for the week ! & staff were nothing more than accommodating! Defs will be back x
