VN Nail and Spa Salon Saintfield

Appalling experience today, thoroughly disappointed. I have been visiting VN mails consistently for 18+months for BIAB nails and gel toes. I would like to say the nail technicians are highly skilled, courteous and professional and i have always been delighted with their services. Today, however was a complete and utter disaster from start to finish, i will never return and would go to lengths to discourage others from booking.i arrived 3 mins early for my 1 hour allotted appointment, i was left waiting (with no apology for 18 mins. My service began with full nail strip (15 mins) at the end of which i was advised my nail tech would be moving on to another client & i should wait for another tech to become Available. My nails were abandoned, raw edges, not shaped/filed, no base coat. During this time 3 clients who had arrived after me were serviced. The owner/manger was, herself benefiting from a gel pedicure from a member of staff. I waited 36 minutes while o tech became available and had now gone well over my allotted appointment time with no explanation, no apology and no effort from any staff to help. My nails were only a quarter complete and would have required a minimum of 30 mins work to complete the BIAB infills.it is such a shame that extremely poor management (both of time & staff) results in such poor service delivery. I feel so let down as a previously loyal customer. I also strongly feel like the excellent staff in this salon are being failed enormously by incompetent management and the horrific service delivery is in no way a reflection of their professionalism. I feel the owner/manager should prioritise customer service for paying clients over monopolising available staff for her personal treatments. I stayed in this salon for well over an hour but received only 15 minutes of my hour long treatment and have been left with the most horrific nails, feeling very vulnerable to infection, breakages and damage.

Can never complain! Nails are always perfection! My nails grow so fast so by 4 weeks I still had some on but a lot of lifting the guy removed them and put a fresh set on! Look amazing as always 😍

Spent £53 on a pedicure yesterday and when I came home and looked at my toes there’s gel polish all over the skin around my toes. Really messy job. On one of my big toes he painted the skin also and it’s already peeling. My sister was with me and she has a medical condition in her legs and one of the female members of staff was laughing at them and making comments to her colleagues. Even if you’re not speaking English it’s obvious when you’re being unkind about someone. Looking at her legs and giggling, then turning round to the others and getting them to look over at them. I’m really upset about it. The woman who was running the shop was lovely but she needs to speak to her staff about manners

Had an appointment to take off acrylic extensions that I had got from another salon, but unfortunately I was cut several times by the electric nail file. The nail tech had to get a separate tissue to dab my cuts throughout the appointment to stop the bleeding. My nails still feel sore days after the appointment and some acrylic is still on my nails. Sadly won’t be back.
